A Birthday Card

This card was created with inspiration from the "Mood Board" that they have each month on the Scrapbook Boutique blog.  I must admit that my first thought was - beach, but I needed a female Birthday card real quick so flowers it was. I coloured the stamped flowers with Distress Inks.

This is the Mood Board we had for inspiration.

I would also like to enter this card in the following challenge:

heARTful stamping   -  Repeating (must use rubber stamp)

  1. Love your birthday card Sharon - you have shown that being inspired by a mood board doesn't mean you have to be too literal - no beach but flowers - and they are gorgeous in those colours! Thanks so much for sharing with us at Scrapbook Boutique this month!

  2. Visiting from seeing your wonderful floral birthday card at Stamped Blessings. Would like to know what stamps you used? I like how you used the Distress Inks.

    1. Hi Melissa, Thanks for your kind words but to be perfectly honest I don't know the brand of the flowers as they were freebies from a magazine. The leaves are Heartfelt Creations - Open Leaf Set

  3. Wonderful Sharyn. I love how even though you didn't do beach the card still represents the moodboard. Fabulous details and love those coloured flowers.
