Spring Fever

"Spring Fever"? Well not here in Australia but that is the theme for the current challenge over on the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog. I have used the free image - Flowerbed Fred, so generously supplied by Heather.

This is my first time making a Circular Step Card and I quite enjoyed it. I did have a bit of trouble making it sit right as it was tending to lean left.
I made the flowers and leaves with "Marianne Creatables" dies. The smaller flowers are from punches. The flower centres are "Flowersoft".

A Masculine Card

Todays card is a masculine card. It is my nephews birthday soon and I decided to use the sketch from  Feeling Sketchy Challenge #55 to create my card. As an optional extra we were challenged to add punched/die cut shapes. My scrambled "Happy Birthday" and "stars" are all die cuts.

I am also entering this card in the The Stamp Spot Challenge Blog where the theme this month is also Masculine.

Feeling Sketchy Challenge #54

My card for the Feeling Sketchy Challenge blog this week. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong with this card. I scrapped my first and second card and eventually settled on this one. Third time lucky. I think it must of been the colour combination of purple and green that was given as a twist with the sketch. Not my normal choice of colours to work with. It has also been raining here all day today so getting a good photo was near impossible especially this late in the afternoon.

Anyhow here is my card

Imagine That Freebie Challenge #4

I am enjoying the challenges provided by Kris from the Imagine That  Digi Stamp Progressive Challenge blog. Her images are so useable. I did take a few liberties with the sentiment by changing it to fit on one line to suit my card. I hope Kris doesn't mind, but that is the beauty of digi stamps, you can change them to suit your needs. I also added the "7" as my Great Nephew turns 7 next birthday and I'm going to use this card for him.

You can't really tell from the photo but the balloons are covered in Diamond Glaze and the 7 is cut from blue holographic paper so its all sparkly.

If you want to play along pop over to the Imagine That  blog and pick up your free image.

I am also entering this card in the following challenges:-

CDAC (Creative Digital Art Center) Progressive Challenge - Anything Goes
Robyn's Fetish Challenge #154 - Anything Goes
Make It Monday Challenge #135 - Anything Goes
Addicted to Stamps and More - Challenge #39 - Addicted to CAS

Feeling Sketchy Challenge #53

I don't know where the days are going. I used to be able to make several cards a week and now I seem to be pushing it to make 1 or 2. Anyhow, I managed to make one for the Feeling Sketchy Challenge Blog. There was an added twist this week. Not only did we have a sketch as inspiration but we had to add 3 or more flowers.
