So easy

This card came together so quickly. I can sometimes spend hours on a card and still not be happy with it but I am quite happy with how this one turned out. You can't really see from the photo but there is bling on the tree.

Lots of texture

Hello. It has been quite hot here in Brisbane the last couple of days but fortunately we have air-con so we don't suffer too much, try to stay indoors as much as possible. I must admit I prefer the hot weather to the cold.

Anyhow, today's card is another Christmas one with lots of texture.

White on White

Another white on white card today. This one uses the Anja's Corner die from Marianne Creatables to create the square background. The poinsettia from Heartfelt Creations was stamped on vellum and embossed with white embossing powder and die cut using the matching dies. The flourish is a die from Die-namics.

I am entering this card in the following  challenges,

Scrapbook Boutique November challenge
CSAYL #37 to die 4 (Christmas Stamping All Year Long)
Polkadoodles Week 47-Any die will do

A New Challenge

My card for this months challenge at Scrapbook Boutique features the Lace Tree embossing folder from Cuttlebug. A die cut ornament from Memory Box tied with a bow and some die cut letters. Looked a bit plain so I added the little white pearls and the die cut corners.I love the elegance of white on white.

This was our inspiration

Christmas Tree

Have been too busy this past week to post anything so will try to get back into the groove.
Today's card uses the same Hero Arts Christmas Tree stamp as was used here , except this time it was stamped with Vesamark and gold embossed. A completely different look using the same stamp.

CONGRATULATIONS ALEX

Today my Grandson graduated from Year 12. We all attended the ceremony held at the school and it was quite an emotional ride as they showed the progression of the students through their 5 years of High School. I am so proud of him for all he has achieved.
Now he moves on to the next stage of his life starting his apprenticeship with the Brisbane City Council as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic. The qualifications he gains from this could set him up for life. Congratulations Alex.

Happy Birthday Kevin

I find it so hard to make cards for men. This year for my son's birthday I thought  I would go with a bit of a fun card. The letters were cut with a Silhouette digital cutter and embossed with the Swiss Dots embossing folder. Inside the balloons were die cuts and the cake was stamped, coloured and cut by hand. The balloons and cake pop-up when card is opened.

INSPIRED

This card was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest and I loved it so much I had to case it. Stamp from Hero Arts, heat embossed in white and coloured with Distress Inks. There is a stamping flaw on the sentiment but I am trying to live with it as I don't know of anything I can do to correct it and I really don't want to scrap the whole card.
