Feeling Sketchy Challenge #61

My DT card for the Feeling Sketchy Challenge Blog features a background stamp from Hero Arts (the optional extra to the sketch this week was to not use patterned paper). I stamped onto white cardstock with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. I then sprayed with  a selection of Perfect Pearl mists. It looks so shimmery in real life its a shame the camera can't pick that up. I then cut the panel into 3 pieces and rounded the corners. The heart is a die cut that has been gold embossed.

This is the sketch we had as inspiration.

Now its your turn. Come on over to the Feeling Sketchy Challenge Blog and link up your creation. You could win a prize just by entering.

Pretty in Pink

I made this card for my Grandson's girlfriend as it was her birthday last weekend. Then I realized it fitted perfectly with the theme for this months challenge over on the Scrapbook Boutique Challenge Blog.
The embossing folder is from Crafts-Too and I inked the inside with "Spun Sugar" Distress Ink before running it through the Cuttlebug. I then embossed a second piece and cut out just the butterfly and adhered in top right hand corner for a 3D effect. Then added some small pink rhinestones. A very quick but pretty card.

Friends in the Wild

Todays card features an image by Heather Valentin. The inspiration this week on the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog is "Anything But A Square".
I made my card as a scalloped circle card, not very original I know but I was running out of time to meet the deadline.

Progressive Challenge #7 on Imagine That!

It's time for a new challenge over on the Imagine That! Challenge Blog. This is my first time showcasing a project as a member of the new Design Team. When I first saw this digi I knew immediately the type of card I was going to make. It is such a fun image so I went with vibrant, fun colours with just a touch of glitter.

Everyone who played in the last challenge received this kit for free. If you want to start playing along in the challenges you can purchase your first image in the Imagine That! store. Then  every time you play you receive the next image free.
