Poppy

Since I have been home from holidays I have had to buy a new refrigerator (the old one kept tripping the safety switch), a new oven and a new electric jug. Because the new fridge is bigger than the last one we also have to take down the wall cupboards and cut them down. Now, my computer is showing signs of distress. The hard drive has started making clacking noises and is so slooooow. I don't know weather to just replace the hard drive or get a whole new system, either way it is a lot of work installing programs, transferring files etc.

Anyhow, on to todays card. This beautiful image from Imagine That! digis by Kris is called "Poppy" and is available, along with some other beautiful flowers, here.

 

As usual the set contains coloured and outline images in both png and jpg.

Feeling Sketchy #82

 

 

Another month rolls by and I am still on holidays so once again this is a scheduled post. This card for the Feeling Sketchy Challenge Blog ended up completely different than what I had envisaged but in the end I quite like it. I used Distress Stains on the strips to get the soft look.

 

This is the sketch we had as our inspiration.
