Crazy Bird Birthday

As soon as I saw the Crazy Birds rubber stamps from Tim Holtz I knew I had to have them. They lend themselves perfectly to happy and fun projects. Today I made a birthday card using inspiration from the vibrant colours of the mood board on the Scrapbook Boutique Challenge Blog. I don't have the dies as yet so I fussy cut the image and popped him up on dimensionals. The background is a Cuttlebug embossing folder - Happy Birthday.

Outlawz Progressive/Freebie Challenge - January

My first post for the new year is a card I made for the Outlawz Progressive/Freebie Challenge for January.
It is cloudy here today so I wasn't able to get a real good photo but they say it will remain cloudy all week so I decided I better do it now before I forgot.

This cutie pie image was generously supplied by All Dressed Up Stamps. I coloured her with my Copics and Prismacolor pencils. Sentiment was a digital file from the Silhouette store.

A Masculine Card

Todays card is a masculine card. It is my nephews birthday soon and I decided to use the sketch from  Feeling Sketchy Challenge #55 to create my card. As an optional extra we were challenged to add punched/die cut shapes. My scrambled "Happy Birthday" and "stars" are all die cuts.

I am also entering this card in the The Stamp Spot Challenge Blog where the theme this month is also Masculine.

Feeling Sketchy Challenge #54

My card for the Feeling Sketchy Challenge blog this week. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong with this card. I scrapped my first and second card and eventually settled on this one. Third time lucky. I think it must of been the colour combination of purple and green that was given as a twist with the sketch. Not my normal choice of colours to work with. It has also been raining here all day today so getting a good photo was near impossible especially this late in the afternoon.

Anyhow here is my card

Scrapbook Boutique January Challenge

This month on the Scrapbook Boutique Challenge Blog our challenge was to use Yellow/Green/White as our inspiration. Those colours instantly reminded me of Frangipanis so that is what I went with.

Birthday Card and a challenge

I need to make a squillion birthday cards this year and to get some inspiration I decided to look for some sketches. I found one that took my fancy on the Sunday Sketch & Stamp challenge blog. I did rotate my focal image only because the stamp I used looked better this way. I am going to enter my card in their challenge for this week.

Boy Birthday

I have so many young boys in my family to make cards for and I really struggle to think of ideas so when I saw a card similar to this on Pinterest I had to give it a go. The "Angry Birds" are all die cuts cut using the Silhouette Cameo. Some of the pieces were very tiny and I had a bit of trouble gluing in place but I think it turned out ok.
